Lake Washington Waterfront

After Puget Sound, Lake Washington is the most prominent geographical feature of the Seattle-Tacoma Metropolitan Area.  With a surface area of almost 90 square km (just under 35 square mi.), it's the second largest lake in the state.  Since the construction of the Lake Washington Ship Canal in 1934, the lake has been connected directly to Puget Sound and thence to the Pacific Ocean.  You can check out the lake from a bird's eye perspective in this drone video by Loren_Anderson.
