Lahore: Before and After Lockdown of Coronavirus

Lahore, which is often termed as Paris of Asia, is the 2nd largest city of Pakistan after Karachi. Culturally so rich and historically so vibrant, is larger than many countries in this world. The fame it gained is not through its population or wider area it covers, but its hospitality and history. It has now become the amalgamation of pop culture and deep rooted traditions, by now this city had seen so many transitions but never like this one. Even in wars and natural calamities, the city and its people never slept. They stood to help each other, its soldiers and civilians. Streets, roads, highways; all were silent. But whenever a silence breaker lone vehicle, a walking man or even a chirping bird appeared from nowhere, winds of the city made symphony of resilience; the "Bella Ciao" of Lahore. After the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic and under strict lock-down, almost empty roads were seen but yet the resilience of its citizens to help those who are in need, will be written in golden words by the historians. Its not over yet, even if it will take some more days, this pandemic can not break our spirits and souls.
