Located east and northeast of St. Petersburg in the northwestern part of the country, the lake forms the eastern boundary of the Karelian Isthmus, the strip of land between the lake and the Baltic Sea on which Russia's second-largest city sits. The video includes some underwater shots to complement the drone footage.
