Kykkos Monastery

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Here's an awesome aerial look at a famous monastery on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, compliments of contributor and drone pilot Lego. It's called the Kykkos Monastery, and it's situated near the village of Pedoulas in the Nicosia District, which covers much of the central part of the island. The monastery is built in the Troodos Mountains, a range which covers much of western Cyprus. The original monastery dates to the 11th century and is tied to a local legend involving the Byzantine Emperor.
