Kotor is one of the cultural gems of the Southeast European country of Montenegro.  It is situated in the southeastern corner of its namesake bay, a major inlet of the Adriatic Sea near the northern end of the country's coastline.  Kotor became one of the world's most heavily-fortified cities during the centuries when the Adriatic Sea was controlled by the Venetian Empire.   Now a major cruise ship port of call as well as a UNESCO World Heritage site, you can check out Kotor from above in this drone video by XG121.
