Kelso Abbey and more of the Borders of Scotland

Our trip to the NC 500 starts from the ferry at Newcastle via the Lady of the North in England - looks nice from the air.Kelso Abbey is one of the four Border Abbies built in the 12th century. It was closed so exterior view only. Floors Castle is supposed to be the largest inhabited castle in Scotland - air footage only.Smailholm Tower is a lovely little tower house from the 16th century with puppets that show scenes from Scottish writer Sir Walter Scott. Rain wouldn't stop so no drone footage.Torwoodlee Tower was new to me and is a little hidden gem. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated and I couldn't be bothered to walk close to it - light rain, distance and power lines made for rather timid footage.
