Kauai, Hawaii - We're Engaged!

Hawaii is not an easy place to get to from my home town. Long days, multiple flights, and even sleeping in airports is tough, but it's all washed away when you feel the welcoming presence that Kauai gives. Once you hear a rooster crow, that’s how you truly know you made it (they’re everywhere). From sunrise to sunset, we never stopped exploring and tried to see as much as we could in the short time we had. I was so lucky to be able to celebrate my birthday sailing on a catamaran chasing dolphins along the Napali Coast, but that’s not even the best part of that day. After the boat, we went up into the mountains for a ridge hike on the peaks of the Napali coast. Once we reached the end the views are indescribable and surreal. I wasn’t nervous because of the heights, I was nervous because I was going to ask my best friend in the world to marry me. Despite her fear of heights and me dragging her on this insane hike, I surprised her. I got down on one knee, and she said yes!! I couldn’t have asked for anything more, it still all feels like a dream. Shout out to Javor and Justin for keeping the secret and making the proposal so great. I love you Anna and I’m so lucky to be able to call you my fiancé.
