Kata Beach is one of a series of beaches along the western shore of Phuket, on the Andaman Sea (across which lies Sri Lanka and southern India).  It sits towards the southern end of what is essentially a new gold coast, with some of the most desirable beaches anywhere in Southeast Asia.  Contributor and pilot Alp Karagulle traveled all the way across Asia from Turkey to Thailand with a drone, and used it to create this very fun-to-watch aerial tour of an emerging tropical paradise beach destination.
