Jesuit Ruins of Trinidad de Paraná and Jesús de Tavarangue

These two religious mission sites built in 1609 are still preserved and considered some of the most impressive creations of the religious work of the Jesuit; a testimony of the historical richness of the country of Paraguay. Both Jesuit missions were declared World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO in 1993.
