AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : This excellent drone video of Istanbul, Turkey by Rodoworld opens with a shot of Rumeli Fortress. Located just south of the Fatih Sultan Bridge on the western (European) side of the Bosphorus, the fortress was built in the mid-15th century in preparation for the Ottoman conquest of the city in 1453. Then you'll head over to the Ortaköy Mosque. Located just south and west of the First Bosphorus Bridge, the Neo-Baroque landmark was completed in 1856 and is one of the city's most beautiful mosques.
