Imingfjell - Norway - Mountain Winter Views

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this stunning wintertime drone video from the mountains of Eastern Norway, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot ToB Creations. The mountain is called Imingfjell, and it's located in the municipality of Nore og Uvdal in Buskerud County. The mountain has a summit elevation of around 3.4k ft. above sea level or around 1k meters. The area is roughly halfway between the cities of Oslo to the east and Bergen to the west. The video was shot over a beautiful Easter weekend in 2021.

It is Maundy Thursday, Easter 2021. We went on a daytrip from Kongsberg, up Numedal valley and over Imingfjell to Austbygde in Telemark, by the beautiful lake Tinnsjøen. Apart from quite strong winds on the mountain, it turned out at its best this day, with sun and blue skies. The landscape is most reminiscent of a white desert. Wild and beautiful! True to traditions there are many people in the mountains, this Easter as well. And the windy weather makes it great for kiting as we also see in the movie. The winter is still going strong on the highest mountain plateaus and lakes are still frozen at this time.
