ICELAND - THE WILDEST FPV PARADISE

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot rcwolf won the FPV Video of the Month contest with this fantastic travel video from Iceland. The video opens with shot of the famous plane wreck on one of Iceland's famous black sand beaches in the southeastern part of the island. At about the :40 mark, you'll dive a spectacular waterfall, followed by a fly-through of the Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. At 1:11, you'll see the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Other featured locations include the Vatnajökull ice cap.

Finally I managed to set foot on Iceland for the first time in my life, for a short week roadtrip on the southcoast. A trip that still keeps in in awe, despite me not having the most epic conditions, no otherworldly sunrises and sunsets, a little moody from time to time, yet, it's probaly the most exciting trip I've had ever. I'm sure to be back for more. A week in Iceland is just barely enough to explore the southern coast and some of its canyons, and I had to abadon the plan to roam the Eastfjords and Vestrahorn due to weather alerts, but that just assured me that this is just a first trip of many more to follow.
