Hurricane Matthew Devastates NC

The Category 4 storm made landfall near the border between the states of Texas and Louisiana and caused over $125 billion in damage, a figure which was roughly comparable in severity to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. That was an award winning documentary in my opinion. I live in Wilkes County NC and I had no idea about all of this devastation. Funny that the news media can tell us a story about something insignificant in a third world country but skip over a story like this. I guess that logic and the need to do the right thing has all but been forgotten. What a shame.
