Humpback's of Ha'apai - Kingdom of Tonga
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
CM Photography spent two weeks in Tonga, an island archipelago situated towards the eastern end of the South Pacific Islands. Tonga is part of the South Pacific subregion known as Polynesia, home to most of the South Pacific's most well-known islands. His spectacular drone film documents humpback whales in the warm waters of Tonga during their migration from Antarctica. The aerial footage of these majestic creatures was taken off the northern tip of Tonga's Foa Island, part of the country's Ha'apai group of islands.

This film is a compilation of 4K drone footage taken over a period of 2 weeks, while I was visiting Matafonua Lodge, off the northern tip of Foa Island in the Ha’apai Island group, Kingdom of Tonga. Every year humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) migrate from Antarctica to the warm waters of Tonga to mate and give birth. It has always been a dream of mine too photograph and video these majestic creatures, and so when the opportunity arose when my family (I am 16) decided to go on a holiday to Matafonua Lodge, I accepted the challenges that came with filming wild animals and embarked on an adventure I will never forget- and this is what I came back with, ENJOY!!!!!
