Hoorn
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this drone video of the Dutch town of Hoorn, compliments of contributor Roodaap Aerial Videography. During the Duth Golden Age, Hoorn was one of the country's greatest seaports and a virtual company town of the Dutch East Indies Company. Part of the Province of North Holland, it's a harbor town on the Markermeer, a lake which was created by the Great Closing Dyke in the 1930's and which cut off Hoorn's sea access. Hoorn's fortunes revived after World War II as an important center of the Dutch horticultural industry.
