Hook head lighthouse

Hook Lighthouse is located at the southern tip of Ireland's Hook Peninsula, on the boundary between Counties Waterford and Wexford in the southeastern part of the country. Marking the eastern entrance to Waterford Harbor, the tower dates to the 12th century. It's believed to be the second-oldest operational lighthouse in the world, after Spain's Tower of Hercules.

It is operated by the Irish Lighthouse Authority, it marks the eastern entrance to Waterford harbour.
