High Steel Bridge Washington State
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this drone video of a famous bridge in the Pacific Northwest state of Washngton, compliments of contributor cward360. It's called the High Steel Bridge, and it crosses the Skokomish River near Shelton, south of the Olympic Peninsula. Completed in 1929, the arch truss bridge was constructed to enable harvesting of previously inaccessible timber. It was built by the Simpson Logging Company, which also constructed the nearby Vance Creek Bridge. Rising 114 meters (375 ft.) above the river, it's one of the USA's highest bridges.
