AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : On October 12, 2019, the Hard Rock Hotel construction site in New Orleans, Louisiana experienced a catastrophic collapse, killing three workers and injuring dozens. Continued structural instability and the attendant danger of further collapse also hindered efforts to retrieve the bodies, two of which had not been recovered even months later. In this drone video by AirVuz contributor and pilot Bumble Bee Productions, you will get an aerial view of the site, which lies on the outskirts of the French Quarter.

This is my second time droning the Collapsed Hard Rock Hotel in New Orleans. I still cannot understand why it remains and why have they not retrieved the bodies that remain in the rubble. My heart reaches out to the family of those that remain in this big mess. I did hear rumors that they are preparing to demolition the building and in some way, retrieve the remains. Not sure in what order. I used some special effects on Final Cut Pro and used Hannah B (Mavic 2 Pro) to capture the videos and pictures.
