Guadalest

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor javierpeznech brings us this excellent drone video of a medieval town in eastern Spain.  Guadalest is located in the mountains of Alicante, the southernmost of the three provinces that make up the Semi-Autonomous Community of Valencia.  The castle-fortress that dominates the town dates to the 11th century, during the period when most of the Iberian Peninsula was under Moorish (Muslim) control.  The castle played an important role in the subsequent struggles for control of the region.
