FlyByQuad MultiGP Funfly / Noobapalooza 2019

Fly By Drone Quad Racing, headed by Robert Rommel Sr., hosted a MultiGP Fun Fly for the FPVNoobTube's Noobapalooza 3 (2019) for our first day of activities. Joe Ford, Chris Justice, Chuck Hoover, and myself (Josh Withrow) along with Dan-O, edrone, Icarus, and Alex were in attendance for the kickoff festivities. Admittedly, myself, Joe, Chris, and Chuck are NOT avid drone racers as we don't spend much time drone racing... but Chris is starting to put up some pretty good laps. But we didn't have much good track footy to share lol. I'm alittle sad that LoveMuscle FPV (Russel Justice) didn't have some footy to throw into the mix! During this event, we unveiled Joe Ford's big project/surprise, the BFQ (Big Fucking Quad); a 8' motor-to-motor diagonal 30" prop quadcopter. Running Betaflight 4.0.2, a Matech flight controller, some HUGE ass ESC's, and the biggest motors I've ever seen to boot, this behemoth has been clocked flying for 15+ minutes on a 5000mah 12S (2 6S packs) powerplant. Joe didn't do much flying on this day because the drone was alittle shakey and DEFINITELY required some tuning, but he gave it a few laps around the field for shits and giggles :) Stay tuned for more Noobapalooza footy, and keep an eye out for more about the BFQ!
