Flight over Xishan Island

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this amazing drone video of an island in one of China's largest lakes, compliments of top content creator and pilot Mattcoq. Xishan Island is located in Lake Tai (sometimes called Lake Taihu), which is located on the border of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The area is situated near the base of the Yangtze River Delta. It's the third largest lake in China by land area, although it's extremely shallow - its average depth is just 2 meters (about 6.5 ft.). Xishan is the largest island in the lake.

One of my first flights with my very first drone, the DJI Phantom 3 Pro .... Not the best video footage, but I decided that time had come to do something with it, instead of just leaving it there in my external hard drive with all the other B-Roll I make with my drone ... Weather that day wasn't fantastic, a little smoggy (as usual in China), so we decided to head out to an island on a lake near Suzhou, where we had spotted an abandoned factory but also some old houses falling apart ... Wasn't sure what to do after nearly two years filming this footage, so I decided for a change of style (music, picture and style wise) ... So very different from my previous videos ...
