So here in Oregon I have a very special friend who owns a little piece of property out near Scio, Oregon. Every year for the last several years he has been blessed with a natural bird phenomenom. Every night for several months about an hour or so before sunset groups of European Starlings start coming together. On some nights there is not so much action but on other nights the flock of birds when they all come together can easily reach in the thousands. They look as if they are a school of fish swimming in the ocean trying to avoid a predator. All moving in synchronous motion with one another. At the end of it all they choose the same spot to rest for the night which is a grove of bamboo on his property. It looks as if the grove of bamboo is an angry monster sucking them out of the sky like a vacuum cleaner as its meal. Last year was my first time ever seeing anything like this in my life and it was so amazing I had to try to film it. Not the easiest task. Never the less I came I saw and I flew and I filmed and this is what you all get to see. Enjoy and Thanks again Judd for letting me be able to see one of natures wonders.
