Fjadrargljufur canyon - Iceland near Kirkjubaejarklaustur vilage

Fjadrargljufur Canyon is located in the south-east Iceland between the Vik city and the National Park Skaftafell, west of the small town of Kirkjubaejarklaustur.

Canyon was formed over 9,000 years ago as a result of long-term action of erosion - carved him water flowing down from the glacier. Deep 100 meters long and approximately two kilometers impresses with its colourfulness and variety of shapes.
