AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Contributor Ericbartolo combined drone and ground camera footage to create this marvelous portrait of the Indian state of Telangana. Located in the south-central part of the country on the Deccan Plateau, the state became India's 29th in 2014, when it was separated from the state of Andhra Pradesh. Prior to the emergence of modern India, Telangana was known as the princely Hyderabad State; it joined the Indian Union comparatively late (in 1948) and only after a military invasion by the Indian army.
