FPVlog 8/31/21 - Escape to the Island!

I love finding new places to explore and capture. This was a journey by car, boat, bike, and drone to an island in the San Francisco Bay that's full of hauntingly beautiful, century-old abandoned structures. The ferry boats only come a few times a day, and it's a bit of a climb from the ferry dock to the perimeter road, so most visitors only see the more well-preserved buildings near the dock. The area where I flew through the buildings was completely deserted, so I felt comfortable doing two quick flights. I want to come back and fly through some of the other buildings too. But I held off this time since there were one or two people around, and it also because it was insanely windy. Shot on a GoPro Hero 9 and a De-cased Hero 8 flown on a BetaFPV 95XV3, and an iFlight Explorer 4". Music - Gnossienne 3 (satie) by Ohad Ben Ari
