FPV Formation Through an Abandoned Shipyard

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : In this video, top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot nikofilms takes us on an epic FPV ride through an abandoned shipyard. This is no "ordinary bando" though: it's an epic chase scene as he plays "follow the leader" through some very tricky obstacles. The video features some of the longest continuous formation flying shots we've seen, some of which get VERY close. It's testament to his considerable piloting skills that he's able to keep the "target" in frame as the two quads thread their way through the site.

Formation flying through an abandoned shipyard with @carterfilmz is probably one of my most surreal fpv experiences. As many of you know, my fpv journey started out with the DRL sim. I used to practice for 3 hrs every night as I waited for my ski injury to heal and first drone parts to arrive. My favorite map on this sim was a shipyard and I would listen to this music while orbiting around container cranes for hours. It was how I dealt with not being able to speedfly/skydive at the time. Flying this abandoned shipyard takes me back to when fpv was just a way to pass the time / therapy. Crazy how things have changed.
