FOSSÁ WATERFALL | Faroe Islands by Drone in 4K - DJI Mavic Air 2

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Fossá Waterfall is one of the natural treasures of the Faroe Islands, a Danish archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean.  Seen in this outstanding drone video by AirVuz contributor eCKsplorer, the falls are located on the northeastern coast of Streymoy, the largest and most populated island in the chain.  The two-stage falls, which empty directly into the ocean, have a total height of about 310 ft. or around 140 m.  It's a roughly 45 minute drive from Tórshavn, the main city of the Faroe Islands.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

The Faroe Islands are in no shortage of waterfalls, but some are more gorgeous than others. During my time there, I explored some of these waterfalls across the islands of Streymoy, Vágar, and Bordoy. Most notably, the Fossá, Múlafossur, Skarðsáfossur, Bøsdalafossur, Svartafoss, Týggjará, and Svartidalurfoss Waterfalls are the most worth seeing. I used my drone to capture some footage from each but perhaps the most impressive was Fossá waterfall. This is the tallest waterfall in the Faroe Islands featuring two tiers of towering cliffs and rushing water down into the sea. I tried to keep the camera and drone steady for this one take shot and I hope I delivered! Enjoy!
