Exploring Stormoa

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Frankhead FPV is one of the few to have successfully experimented with using gimbals on FPV mini-quads. The gyro-stabilized mechanism provides for much smoother video footage, although it comes at some cost in terms of weight and breakability (gimbals do not survive even minor crashes unscathed). It's a perfect setup for FPV mountain surfing, with the gimbal providing amazingly cinematic footage. Here is one of his FPV mountain surfing videos from Stormoa, a mountain in Northern Norway.
