Exploring Stormoa
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Frankhead FPV is one of the few to have successfully experimented with using gimbals on FPV mini-quads. The gyro-stabilized mechanism provides for much smoother video footage, although it comes at some cost in terms of weight and breakability (gimbals do not survive even minor crashes unscathed). It's a perfect setup for FPV mountain surfing, with the gimbal providing amazingly cinematic footage. Here is one of his FPV mountain surfing videos from Stormoa, a mountain in Northern Norway.

This video was shot at around midnight and yes the sun is still up because in this part of the world and at this time of year, the sun doesn't go down for 2 months!
So come with me for a relaxing flight over the surrounding mountains to see what we can find.
