The Romanian region of Transylvania is mostly defined by the mountains which surround it and in effect constitute its physical boundaries. All of the mountains are part of the Carpathian range, the great chain of mountains which runs across much of Romania. The northern boundaries of Transylvania are defined by the Rodna Mountains in the in the Maramureș region. Content creator and pilot Alin Constantin used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create an aerial view of this magnificent alpine region.

With this video I want to open a series of untold tales about the beauty of my country, Romania. This first part reveals one of the most traditional and picturesque places of Europe, Rodna Mountains (Bistrita-Nasaud county). Located on the north of Transylvania, the most visited area by foreigners, this "Little Switzerland" transpose everyone that come here in the world described only in fairytales like "The Snow White". Also the soundtrack used for this video is a remix of one of the most appreciated traditional songs from our folklore: "Fir-ai tu sa fii de murg (Oh damn, my dear horse) by Liviu Vasilica".
