Evangelia's Wreck

Almost 50 years have passed since the ship Evangelia ran aground in the Black Sea, on the northern beach of Costinesti. The ship belonged to the famous Aristotle Onassis and was built in the same shipyard as the Titanic. One of the legends about the shipwreck says the incident was deliberately provoked in order to get compensation. Over time, the wreck has become a symbol of Costinesti resorts and one of the attractions for tourists. Now the wreckage is broken in two parts, rusty and it's only a matter of time until it gets to the bottom of the sea.
