The park is located in the southwestern part of the Siberia region, in the Ergaki Mountains. The tallest peak in the Ergaki range is Zvyozdniy, which has a summit elevation of about 2.1k meters above sea level or around 6.9k ft. The Ergaki Mountains form part of the larger Sayan range.
