Weddings are not what they once were. Sure, the moment itself is the same - a couple is joined in marriage, usually in front of friends and family, there is cake and dancing - but the price has skyrocketed in recent years. Why? Experts say it is because couples want their wedding to be just as impressive as the ones they see on T.V. The average wedding in the United States costs $33,391. The average cost per guest has reached an all-time high of $268 per person, up from $194 in 2009. Couples are also looking for new ways to capture their, very expensive, magical day. That has led to a wave of customers looking for drone pilots and a new market for those pilots to get in to. In this aerial wedding reel by Mauro Sciambi, you can see why so many couples think sending a drone to capture their unique venue is such a great idea.
