As a city originating on the west bank of the Dneiper River, the ongoing growth of the Ukrainian capital city has been dependent on the construction of a series of bridges over the river. In the video you'll see a number of the city's most well-known bridges, such as the Parkovy (pedestrian) bridge appearing at :30 and the landmark Pivnichnyi (formerly Moskovskyi) Bridge at :40.
