Dún Briste sea stack, Downpatrick head, County Mayo, Ireland
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Here's a drone video of a magnificent spot on the western coast of Ireland, compliments of contributor Drone Photography Ireland. It's a 50 meter (about 165 ft.) tall sea stack called Dún Briste, and it's located just a few dozen meters/yards off of a small but prominent peninsula called Downpatrick Head. It's located just to the northeast of the town of Ballycastle in County Mayo, on an east-west stretch of the coastline known as the Wild Atlantic Way which covers most of the island's west coast.

In the Irish town-land of Knockaun, 80 meters off Downpatrick Head stands a colossal, 50 meters in height, sea-stack called Dun Briste (The Broken Fort). The surrounding cliffs, including the rock formation, were formed about c. 350 million years ago, when the sea temperatures were much higher than today.
