Dronie from the Cañon del Mandiyaco

Dronies really are the perfect way to capture a moment. In the archetypal dronie shot, the view of the human subject gives way to a "reveal" of the (hopefully epic) shooting location.  It's a shot that literally was impossible before the advent of drones.  Pilot la.drones took this dronie while laying on a bridge that passes over the Caqueta River in Canon del Mandiyaco, located in the state of Cauca in southern Colombia. This video earned a nomination for the Dronie category at the 6th Annual NYCDFF.
