Drone Vs SnowRide
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Livyu FPV brings us this fantastic FPV drone video of some freeride skiers plying the slopes. This very talented content creator effortlessly swoops above and around his subjects, defying the elements - specifically, subzero temperatures and wind speeds up to 60 km/hr (about 37 mph) winds. He says nothing could have prepared him to fly in those conditions but he was glad he got what he did in; after watching it, you will be glad as well.

I have been flying for some time and managed to hit a lot of crazy spots but this one beats them all :) Can you imagine -20C and 60kmph winds? This moment was unimaginable but still managed to squeeze some packs when the wind was a little calmer but got back to speed before I ended the first pack. PS: no amount of preparation could really prepare me for this... Even if I had my packs wormed up by some heat patches it was just an unflyable situation... still happy I managed to squeeze that much :) Gear used in this video: Rig: ImpulseRC Reverb 5" ImpulseRC Wolf PDB(awesome) KissFC V2 KISS 32A T-motor F40PRO 2400 KV Unify Pro (@800mw) Crossfire Micro RX Foxeer Predator Mini Lolipop UFL Cyclone 5046c Goggle: Fatshark HD1 RapidFIRE module Transmitter: Taranis X9D Crossfire TX@500mW TBS Diamond Batteries: Acehe 1500mah 75c 4s Tattu FunFly 1550 100c 4s HD Camera: GoPro Hero7 Black
