Congratulations to our Drone Video of the Week August Week 1 Winner MOMENTS OF MADEIRA | 4K by ZilverSchmitz! When asked about this video, drone pilot Zilver Schmitz said, “I got my inspiration from the feelings during my road trip through Norway last year. I saw so many amazing places, but after I finished the trip, I discovered I'd totally forgot to enjoy and to experience every moment. I was so caught up in my drone and camera that I totally forgot to ENJOY instead of just being busy with filming. On my trip to Madeira I wanted to do this different, I wanted to experience every moment. As Madeira is an Island, the winds where very strong. Sometimes I was so scared to fly, but I just wanted to make the shots I was looking for! Risky but totally worth it! Pretty happy with how the video came out!” He used the DJI Mavic Pro for all of the drone shots in this film, and a Panasonic GH5 for the ground camera work. He says he likes using both so he can show his experiences in the best way possible.
