Drone Video of the Month - July (2021)

Hi everyone I'm Jacob Blaeser and welcome back to Drone Video of the Month, and what a month it was! July is always an exciting month. We have the 4th of July here in America, this year we have the Olympics going on in Tokyo, which is why I have my gold hat on but let's get back to the top videos because that's why we're here! If you're wondering how the Drone Video of the Month works, each week, we choose a Drone Video of the Week. That video is then eligible for this Drone Video of the Month. Before we get to that winning video, let's recap the top videos from July. First up we have Tbilisi From Above from creator and fpv pilot rememorales. During this flight around Tbilisi, Georgia, Reme not only shows off his fpv skills, but also captures some of the capital city's most recognizable landmarks. Just another all-around amazing fpv city tour from Reme! Next, we head to Zermatt Switzerland in this incredible winter video from oculusfilms. When you think of the most picturesque winter locations on the planet, this part of the Swiss Alps has to be right up there near the top of that list. From the powdery mountain peaks to the views through the clouds, this truly was a breathtaking film! In this next video, we head to the extreme opposite of the cold, snowy mountain peak as Hayden Kast, takes us on a flight over the Seychelles Islands. Hayden, who has been recognized for both his traditional and fpv edits, mixes the two together to create one spectacular aerial production from paradise. Another wonderful film from Hayden. Next... we head to the Central Asian republic of Kazakhstan, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot baikensky. Let me begin by saying the filming and drone piloting in this one was phenomenal. And the editing.. Fantastic. While it has been over two years since baikensky had last uploaded a video on AirVuz, after seeing this production I'd say it was well worth the wait!  Last, but certainly not least, we have Simply Iceland by AndriThor. I said it last week when he won Drone Video of the Week, and I'll say it again now, this Simply Iceland edit was simply incredible! In this video, which is full of stunning shots, Andri shows us all why Iceland is becoming one of the most popular destinations for drone pilots and creators.  And now... drumroll please... the winner of July's Drone Video of the Month and the $500 prize is.... rememorales with his video Tbilisi From Above. Cinematic FPV city tours are becoming one of the most eye-appealing drone productions, and there aren't many better at that style than Reme Morales. While yes, Reme does get to travel to some absolutely mind-blowing locations around the world as Beautiful Destinations go-to FPV pilot, he understands the importance of practicing his fpv and editing skills so he can continue to raise the bar as both a pilot and creator.
