Drone Footage | DJI Mavic Air 2 | 4K Catalina Island, CA

Brand-new AirVuz contributor chao.charlie used a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone to bring us this fantastic 60 second aerial video of California's Santa Catalina Island.  Part of the Channel Islands, it's about a 40 minute ferryboat ride from Long Beach.  Most of the video was shot around Avalon, Catalina's main settlement, which lies on its southeastern shore.  The video features some excellent footage of the island's best-known landmark: the Catalina Casino, which (despite its name) is a gathering place and is not associated with gambling.

Catalina Island, CA | Made it off the mainland and somehow landed 22 miles off the coast to this beautiful island. About 22 miles south-southwest of Los Angeles, Catalina Island is the southernmost island of California's Channel Islands. The Island is made up of two towns, the incorporated city of Avalon on the east end, and the unincorporated village Two Harbors on the west end. The island is just 22 miles long and 8 miles across.
