For decades, Spain's rural provinces have been seeing their population leave for the larger cities.  This is particularly true in the provinces of the country's interior, in the regions of Castile and León and Castile-La Mancha.  These regions, which have always been fairly thinly populated, have seen significant population losses due to the draw of Madrid and Barcelona, among other cities.  In this drone video by David de Clav, you will see a town in the province of Guadalajara which has been completely abandoned.
