The Philippines has over 7,400 islands, some of which are very remote, untouched, and never seen by the general public. This film chronicles our 5 day expedition in the Western part of the Philippines, as we explored some of these islands. To get to these places, we had to entrust our lives to 16-24 year old masters of the sea. Some of these boys were former pirates. We spent our days snorkeling, fishing, and mostly sailing, and camped out in these islands at night. The risk has definitely been outweighed by the reward. It has been a great priviledge to be granted access to these islands and I was given the moral responsibility of showing them but not telling where exactly they are. These images I captured definitely cannot give justice to the immense beauty I witnessed in those islands.
