In the last few decades, it has also become home to some world class golf courses to go along with its celebrated lakes. One of the most well known of these is Deacon's Lodge. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer for its owner, the celebrated Breezy Point resort. Aerial footage of Deacon's Lodge Golf Course in Breezy Point, Minnesota. Deacon's Lodge was designed by Arnold Palmer, who named the course after his father 'Deacon'. The course was built on over 500 acres of forests, wetlands and (of course) lakes. It's popularity has grown from statewide to nationwide, and has been named an America's Top 100 course.
