In this very impressive video, he shows us the highlights of footage he's captured since adding FPV flight to his repertoire. The video includes footage shot in the great outdoors of Iceland, Germany and Switzerland, as well as some indoor "cinewhoop" shots.

Ever since I started using drones seven years ago, they became my go to tool in filmmaking. The possibility to add motion to otherwise static landscape shots did intruige me, apart from the usual getting a different perspective thing. In 2016 on a trip with my brother in law to Norway I did use the opportunity to try flying his FPV drone. It lasted - well - a couple of seconds after which we had to recover it from the bushes. This was an end for any FPV flying plans. But then something interesting happened, more and more the shaky FPV videos got cinematic. But there was still the hurdle of DIY FPV drones. So when the first rumors and leaks of a DJI FPV drone came to surface in late 2020, I used the time in Lockdown to familiarize myself with FPV drones. Starting with a simulator and some TinyWhoops for the living room, I started to get into it. From the time the DJI FPV drone was released I did try to get more and more the hang of it. But also learned the limitations of the system. Today I own both - traditional FPV quads like Cinewhoops and a Nazgul. I even feel comfortable flying indoors now. This is a collection of my favorite shots, captured in Iceland, Germany and Switzerland. Music by Generdyn, licensed by Musicbed
