DJI Mavic Pro - Sport Mode Low & Far Flight

Comparison of *position* mode and *sport* mode max speeds ------------------------------- Position Mode Max Speed - 00:32 Sport Mode Max Speed - 2:14 ------------------------------- Today I took the DJI Mavic Pro out for low and kind-of-fast flying using 'sport mode'. In sport mode, the speed tops out at 40mph rather than the 20mph in 'position mode'. The Mavic's high definition video feed does an incredible job penetrating obstacles. While the signal strength stayed strong down in the trees, the slight lag in video feed is a little irritating. There were also a couple times, when in position mode, the Mavic would come to a halt because its forward obstacle sensors felt too close to a tree. As far as speed, agility, and absence of video lag the Mavic has nothing on the mini quads. However, it is still fun to have high def video feed 3 feet off the ground very far from launch point :) To bystanders it just looks like a pilot-less drone is roaming the countryside by itself.
