DJI Mavic Mini Review
Published 10/31/2019 07:28DJI introduced its brand new drone, the Mavic Mini on October 30, 2019 during its “Fly as you Are” event. Drone pilot Reinis Vilnis, with Sky High Films, received one before it was released to test it out. He recently uploaded his full review of the small, compact drone onto AirVuz. At $399 it is the most affordable Mavic yet. It weighs only 249 grams so you don't need to register it with the FAA to fly. It comes with a controller and a battery that slides inside of the drone. It also comes equipped with 360-degree prop guards for added safety. While the battery life lasts up to 30 minutes, Vilnis says one of the coolest features is that you can charge the drone virtually anywhere via USB. It features a 2.7K camera that can shoot video up to 30 fps and in full hd 60 fps. After Vilnis flew the new Mavic Mini around Latvia he said, "I like the fact that it's very, very small and light... The fact that people feel safe around it is a good bonus." While he says he would like to be able to switch some of the features, he says it's the best drone for beginners.
