Colorado - Winter in the Rockies

Aerial of Colorado as we feature areas along the Colorado River and I-70. We start in Grand Junction and head east as the elevation and snow increases. Beginning at Glenwood Springs you really start to get into the Rockies. We also feature the very popular resort town of Vail. If you are looking for a great Chrstmas get-away check out Georgetown, CO and the as the state motto says, it is more colorful in Colorado. Comparted to Utah, the mountains are alittle higher, there are more trees, beautiful tall spruce, but it is also a lot more crowded.
