Originally founded in 1965 as the Moppet Players, it eventually became the Children's Theater Company in 1975 when it moved into the space at MIA. Located just 3 km (around 2 mi.) south of downtown Minneapolis, the Children's Theater Company is part of a vibrant performing arts scene in the Twin Cities, considered one of the most active in the USA.
