Cherry Blossoms in Suncheon, South Korea

Suncheon is an important mid-sized city in the southern part of South Korea. It is situated in the province of Jeollanam-do, a bit to the north and west of Suncheon Bay. In this excellent drone video by AirVuz contributor FSJR, you'll get a tour of the area around the city during the Spring cherry blossom season. Cherry blossom bloom first in the southern part of the country, generally beginning in late March. Shot with a DJI Mavic Pro 3, you'll see why this part of the country is known for its natural beauty.

In the midst of a work crunch I decided to head out to my shoot location a day early to see if I could film some cherry blossoms in time. The morning / first location started off well but as I travelled from place by to place there seemed to be fewer and fewer flowers left. Either way I am quite happy with the footage and I’m loving my DJI Mavic 3. The locations filmed here are: - Suncheon City - Pungdeok-dong - Gurye-gun - Seomjin River - Hadong-gun
