Chasing Thomas The Tank Engine With A Drone.
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Lakelside & Haverthwaite Railway is a historical (narrow gauge) railroad which runs a course of about 5 km (3 mi.) through the Lake District of County Cumbria in the North West England region. Sections of the road were once used to film footage for the Thomas the Tank Engine TV series. In this drone video by Joshua Paul Gardner, you'll get an amazing bird's eye view of this historic railroad, which runs through an area of some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the entire United Kingdom.

The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway // Aerial Adventure // Episode 11 // Lake District I've recently just returned home after a beautiful week in the Lake District, exploring the autumn colours and enjoying my self in the mountains. During a busy half term week, I managed to escape the crowds and headed down to the southern end of the park and spent the day bumbling around the Leven Valley. Established in 1973 The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway travels through the tranquil scenery of the Leven Valley in the heart of the Lake District. The train heaves it’s passengers up the steeply graded line, leisurely transporting guests to Lakeside Station, where connections are available with Windermere Lake Cruises. Heres what I captured, Hope you enjoy.
