Castillo de Zafra

The Castle of Zafra is located in the municipality of Campillo de Dueñas in Guadalajara, one of the provinces of the Castilla–La Mancha region in the middle of the country. Built in the 12th century, the castle played an important role in the bloody struggle between Christianity and Islam that played out over the Middle Ages. It was also used as a filming location in Season 6 of HBO's Game of Thrones series.
